Course Content
The advanced risk management course is designed for project managers and project teams involved in complex projects or projects that involve global participants or a significant amount of uncertainty with respect to a lot of factors.
Risks are relatively easy to identify but a lot more difficult to qualify, quantify, and respond to. The level of risks and the types of risks might not be related directly to the project but could be an attribute of the organization, in which case it becomes difficult to correlate risks to projects.
The impact of most risks is not linear, and hence, the complexity of risk penetration into other knowledge areas within a project is significant. This course allows the project manager to understand risks from a detailed technical perspective, allows the project manager to use and understand sophisticated tools for risk planning, analysis, and response, and also allows for creating a direct link between risks and project success.
