Course Description
As part of an ongoing effort to increase the competency of a project manager, PMOs and organizations should constantly look at ways to minimize conflicts within projects, specifically on projects with a global reach or projects that are complex. Even on a local, non-complicated project, conflicts need to be actively managed and resolved. The subject of conflict management is part qualitative, part quantitative, part intuitive, and part pragmatic. There are philosophical issues involved in resolving conflicts as well as politics.
This course is designed to provide every project manager a keen sense of what is considered a conflict, the pro-active and reactive approaches, the unavoidable conflict, and situations where human lives could be in danger. A must for project managers seeking better solutions.
