Course Description
SharePoint Services is fast becoming the de-facto mode for document storage and a variety of
document handling functions, including individual project websites, resource communication, team building activities, and risk and issues registry.
The use of SharePoint Services can be
either in conjunction with MS Project Server or independent of the MS Project Server as a
standalone tool. There is significant improvement with the SharePoint software as Microsoft
has put in a lot of effort to make it the de-facto document management system for the PC
market.
Participants in this course will learn how to set up SharePoint Services, including security, programming, website, community area, and various other functions. This is a
practical course with hands-on exercises and working on practical projects.
